Uncle Solitaire and his two nephews , The cousin brothers Novel and John, were about to start a new chapter in their lives. As They couldn’t stay in their own country anymore, they are going to set out to live in a different place. Leaving behind their homes and familiar faces. They hoped to find a new home there, away from their habitual country. With hopeful hearts, they began their journey to this unknown mountain, where they could start fresh and build a new life together. After travelling for 15 days, walking along different paths, they finally arrived at a spot close to a mountain. . The mountain looked really tall and special. They felt excited and a little bit confused, but they held hands and took a big breath. They knew they could do it together. With happy hearts, they began to explore the mountain, ready to discover all the amazing things it had for them.
Uncle Solitaire: “Boys, this is the start of a grand adventure. Let’s embrace the unknown and make it our own.”
Novel: “Uncle, look at that mountain! It’s like nothing we’ve ever seen before.”
John: “Yeah, and with each step we take, we’re creating a new story, a chapter of our lives filled with hope and determination.”
Hand in hand, they took their first step onto the mountain path, ready to face whatever adventures awaited them with courage and unity. With the wind gently rustling their hair, they continued their ascent, excited to explore and grateful for the opportunity to start anew.
Uncle Solitaire – ” Take a deep breath, and Let’s start a new day again “.
Uncle Solitaire led the way, and his nieces followed closely behind, their hearts full of excitement. As they walked, they spotted colorful flowers and small creatures scurrying about. “Look, kids! Nature is welcoming us to our new journey,” Uncle Solitaire exclaimed with a smile.
Novel and John nodded in agreement, their eyes wide with wonder. “Wow, Uncle, you’re right! It’s like a whole new world here,” Novel said, pointing to a butterfly that fluttered by.
“We’re like a team of explorers on a magical quest,” John giggled.
As they reached a clearing halfway up the mountain, they paused to catch their breath and take in the breathtaking view. The valley below was like a painting, with winding rivers and lush forests. Uncle Solitaire put his arm around his nieces and nephews, saying, “This is our canvas now. Let’s paint it with all the colours of our dreams.”
Inspired by their uncle’s words, the children looked at each other and started to share their hopes and dreams for their new life.
With renewed determination, they continued their climb, their hearts light and their spirits high. Every new discovery, every shared laugh, brought them closer together.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow across the landscape, Uncle Solitaire said, “Today was just the beginning of our adventure. Tomorrow, we’ll continue exploring, learning, and growing together.”
With a chorus of agreement and a sense of togetherness that filled the air, they settled down for the night, excited for all the tomorrows that lay ahead on their mountain journey.
That day, they were really tired, so they fell asleep because they needed rest.
The next morning, as the sun rose over the mountain, Uncle Solitaire and the children woke up refreshed and ready to continue their adventure. They shared a breakfast of fruits and breads , fueling themselves for the day ahead. They managed to have some of it for breakfast, but they knew they wouldn’t have enough for lunch. With renewed energy, they set out to explore more of the mountain, eager to discover what surprises awaited them. But that was not a bed of roses.
Uncle Solitaire spoke with seriousness, “Our first task is to find some food source for our next meal. We have to secure the source first.”
After finishing their morning snack, they got engrossed in the task of searching for their next meal. They lifted their bags onto their shoulders. They started walking along a straight path ahead. After walking for almost an hour, they realized that finding something so easily wouldn’t be possible. So, they wanted to go further inside the mountains. Perhaps, there they might find something. They began to move further inward. However, the deeper they went, the denser the forest became. Later, they realized that perhaps they had gone too far inside. With a hint of fear in their voices, John said, “Uncle Solitaire, it seems like we’ve lost.”
Then Uncle Solitaire said that, it really feels like we’ve gone further inside. Let’s see if we can find any food here. They walked for more hours and couldn’t even find any food. By that time, they were tired from walking so much. They sat down under a big tree to rest for a while. Novel said – ” I am thirsty “. John Replied – ” Me too”. Thinking that Uncle Solitaire’s mood has turned sour, he imagines how he can serve food and water to his young nephews, and he sulks while glancing towards the direction of the novel and John.Suddenly understanding John and the novel, he exclaimed, “We’re getting some sleep now.” Hopefully, Uncle Solitaire can become a bit worry-free.The trio found themselves in a challenging situation deep within the forest, their initial excitement giving way to concern and exhaustion. Uncle Solitaire’s determined expression mirrored their collective resolve, his mind racing for a solution. He scanned the surroundings, seeking any signs of sustenance.Uncle Solitaire’s strong face showed how determined they all were, thinking hard to find a way out. He looked around, searching for any signs of food. As time passed, Uncle Solitaire and Novel & John got really tired and fell asleep under a big tree. The forest’s secrets got even more puzzling, surrounding them as they slept uncertainty not knowing what would happen next.
As evening approached, All three of them woke up. Suddenly, they noticed above their eyes that the tree they were sitting under was a date palm tree. Ripe dates were hanging from the tree. Their hearts filled with joy. Uncle Solitaire first exclaimed, “Look, we’ve found food!” Novel and John were also excited.
With renewed energy and a sense of urgency, the trio gathered themselves beneath the date palm tree. Uncle Solitaire’s steady guidance led the way as they observed the ripe dates hanging above them, just out of arm’s reach. Determination filled their hearts, and they knew they had to figure out a way to access the succulent fruits.
Uncle Solitaire’s eyes sparkled with ingenuity. “Let’s work together,” he suggested, “We can use these long sticks to gently knock the dates down.” Novel and John nodded eagerly, their faces reflecting a mix of excitement and concentration. They each grabbed a long stick and began tapping the ripe dates with careful precision.
With each well-aimed tap, a date would fall, landing with a soft thud on the ground. Their efforts gradually rewarded them with a small pile of the delicious fruit. Laughter and encouragement filled the air as they perfected their technique, their unity and teamwork strengthening their bond.
As the pile of dates grew, Uncle Solitaire reached into his bag and pulled out a knife, its blade glinting in the dappled sunlight. With practiced skill, he carefully sliced open a date, revealing its sweet and sticky interior. The aroma wafted through the air, heightening their anticipation.
Uncle Solitaire’s warm smile was infectious. “Here you go, children,” he said, handing each of them a piece of the freshly cut date. Their eyes lit up with delight as they savored the fruit, its sweetness a welcome respite from their earlier hunger.
Novel’s face lit up with excitement. “This is amazing, Uncle Solitaire! I never imagined dates could taste this good.”
John nodded in agreement, a contented expression on his face. “It’s like a reward for all our efforts.”
As they continued to enjoy their impromptu feast, their surroundings seemed to come alive with newfound vitality. The forest’s rustling leaves and distant birdsong provided a soothing backdrop to their shared moment of joy and nourishment.
With the taste of dates lingering on their tongues, Uncle Solitaire’s voice held a note of satisfaction. “Remember, Lord provides exactly what we need when we need it most. We just have to be open to his blessings .”
The trio leaned back against the tree, savoring the simple pleasure of satiety. The tension that had accompanied their search for sustenance had given way to a sense of accomplishment and gratitude.
As they rested and relished in the company of one another, the sun began its descent, casting a warm and golden hue across the mountain landscape. Uncle Solitaire’s words from the previous evening echoed in their minds – “Today was just the beginning of our adventure.”
With each bite of the dates, they felt a renewed sense of determination to face the challenges ahead, to continue exploring, learning, and growing together. The forest, once mysterious and intimidating, now felt like a welcoming ally on their journey.
As the sky painted a breathtaking view of colours, the trio knew that they had overcome their first obstacle together. The mountain held many more surprises, and with hearts full of hope and unity, they eagerly looked forward to the chapters of their adventure that lay ahead.
With the sun’s warm embrace fading into a gentle twilight, the trio’s laughter and chatter continued to fill the air. Uncle Solitaire reached for another ripe date, his experienced hands deftly peeling away the outer layer to reveal the glistening, honeyed flesh within. With a look of satisfaction, he offered a date to his nephews.
Novel and John eagerly accepted the dates, their fingers delicately holding the fruit. As they took their first bites, a chorus of delighted expressions filled the quiet clearing. The dates burst with natural sweetness, a burst of energy that seemed to infuse their spirits.
“Mmm, these are like nature’s candy,” John mused, a grin spreading across his face.
“Absolutely,” Novel chimed in, his eyes shining. “And you know what, Uncle? I think these dates taste even better because we hardly found them .”
Uncle Solitaire nodded in agreement, his heart swelling with gratitude . “You’re absolutely right, my dear. Sharing this experience, overcoming challenges as a team, that’s what makes these dates taste so special.”
The trio continued to savor each bite, their thoughts drifting to the journey they had embarked upon. As they ate, they shared stories, dreams, and even a few silly jokes. The forest seemed to come alive around them, as if celebrating their triumph over adversity.
With the last remnants of daylight casting a warm glow, Uncle Solitaire gently brushed his hands clean and looked at his nephews with a soft smile. “Remember, this mountain journey is about more than just finding food. It’s about discovering the world around us and surviving and the joy of being together.”
The children nodded in understanding, their hearts and bellies full. As the stars began to twinkle in the sky, the trio leaned back against the tree.
And so, under the watchful eyes of the night sky, Uncle Solitaire and his beloved little friends continued to weave the tapestry of their adventure. With the taste of dates still lingering on their lips, they drifted into a peaceful sleep, knowing that everyday is going to be challenging this mystifying mountain journey. But they have accepted the change.
With the first light of dawn illuminating the horizon, Uncle Solitaire and his teenagers nephews emerged from a restful slumber. Their bodies felt rejuvenated, ready to take on the challenges that awaited them on this new day of their mountain days.
As they stretched their limbs and exchanged sleepy smiles, the trio’s bond seemed even stronger, forged through shared experiences and the unbreakable thread of family unity.
Uncle Solitaire gazed at the rising sun, a glint of determination in his eyes. “Another day, another chance to explore, learn, and grow. Let’s make the most of it.”
Novel and John nodded in agreement, their faces reflecting a mixture of excitement and resolve. With a quick breakfast of remaining fruits and a renewed sense of purpose, they began their ascent once again, the mountain’s mysteries beckoning them forward.
The forest seemed to come alive as they ventured deeper into its heart, the symphony of rustling leaves and chirping birds providing a harmonious backdrop to their journey. Their steps were steady, each one bringing them closer to the heart of the mountain’s secrets.
Uncle Solitaire’s voice was a soothing presence, guiding them with words of wisdom and encouragement. “Every step we take is a step closer to discovering the hidden wonders of this mountain. And remember, challenges are just opportunities in disguise.”
Novel and John’s determination burned bright, their eyes fixed on the path ahead. As they trekked through the wilderness, they spotted peculiar rock formations and vibrant flowers, their curiosity piqued with every new sight.
“Uncle Solitaire, look at this flower! It’s like a splash of color against the green,” Novel exclaimed, pointing to a delicate blossom.
John nodded in agreement. “And over there, those rocks look like they’re telling a story.”
Uncle Solitaire smiled at their keen observations. “Nature is indeed a storyteller, revealing its mysteries to those who take the time to listen.”
The trio continued their journey, their hearts open to the beauty and magical scene that surrounded them. With every step, they felt a sense of wonder and gratitude for the opportunity to explore this enchanting landscape together.
As the sun reached its zenith, casting a warm glow over the landscape, Uncle Solitaire led the way to a tranquil clearing. They settled down to rest, their bodies grateful for a moment of respite. Uncle Solitaire’s voice was gentle, his words a soothing balm to their weary souls.
“Rest, my dear ones. Recharge your body and mind for the journey ahead holds more adventures than we can imagine.”
With a shared sense of camaraderie, they closed their eyes, their breaths synchronizing with the rhythm of the forest. In this serene moment, surrounded by the embrace of nature, the trio found solace and strength in one another’s presence.
As the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the landscape, Novel, John, and Uncle Solitaire rose from their restful interlude. With renewed energy and determination, they resumed their exploration, eager to uncover the mountain’s secrets that lay ahead.
The air was filled with a sense of anticipation as they ventured deeper into the heart of the mountain, their footsteps echoing in harmony with the pulse of nature. Each twist and turn of the path revealed new wonders, each moment a testament to their resilience and unwavering bond.
As they continued their steps, their laughter and conversations carried on the breeze, a testament to the joy of discovery and the strength of their familial connection. With each passing day, their mystifying mountain mission unfolded, a tapestry woven with courage, hope, and the enduring spirit of adventure.
After hours of walking,They again came back underneath the date palm tree to take some nap and fruits to eat.
Uncle Solitaire looked at Novel and John with a thoughtful expression.
“You know,” he said, “we’ve come a long way, and it’s important to have a place to rest and call home.”
Novel and John nodded in agreement, understanding the wisdom in his words. “Yeah, a place where we can take a break and gather our thoughts,” Novel added.
Uncle Solitaire looked at Novel and John and said, “Today, let’s focus on building ourselves a shelter. A place where we can take a break from our explorations.
Novel’s face lit up with understanding. “So, like a little home in the middle of the wild?”
Novel and John exchanged intrigued glances, ready to embark on their next challenge. “But how do we start?” John asked.
“Exactly,” Uncle Solitaire replied. “We’ll gather materials and create a little home .”
They got to work, searching for branches, leaves, and vines to construct the shelter.
The three of them set out to gather branches of varying sizes. They chose those that were straight and strong, perfect for providing a solid base for their shelter. With a growing pile of branches at their side, they began arranging them in a circular shape, creating the outline of their shelter’s walls.
Uncle Solitaire showed them how to arrange the branches in a circular pattern, creating a framework that would eventually become their shelter’s walls.
Uncle Solitaire and his nephews, Novel and John, planned to use mud to reinforce the walls of their makeshift home. After gathering branches, leaves, and grass, they set out to find a suitable source of mud.
“Boys, we’ve got what we need right here to create a shelter,” Uncle Solitaire announced, gesturing towards the abundant foliage, branches, and mud at their disposal.
As they worked, Uncle Solitaire shared practical tips. “Make sure the branches are secure, and we’ll weave the leaves through to form the walls.”
Novel and John listened closely, nodding as they understood the process. With their hands working in sync, they wove the leaves through the branches, creating a sturdy and functional structure.
“We’re like builders, but in the wild,” John remarked, wiping sweat from his forehead.
After working hard all day, Uncle Solitaire and his nephews, Novel and John, decided to take a break as the sun went down. They had been busy making a small house out of leaves, grass, branches, and mud. It was getting dark, and they needed to rest.
They put down their tools and looked at what they had accomplished. The house was still a work in progress, but they were happy with how it was coming along. The leaves and branches made a roof, holding everything together.
“We did a good job today,” Uncle Solitaire said. “This house will be a nice home once we finish it.”
Novel and John nodded and smiled. They were tired from the day’s work, but they felt happy about what they had done.
As the sky turned from orange to blue, they sat around a small fire they had made earlier. They ate fruits they had gathered and talked about their day. They laughed and shared stories as they enjoyed their meal.
When they were done eating, they knew it was time to rest. They crawled into their makeshift roof of leaves, feeling the cool air around them. The sounds of the forest helped them fall asleep, and they dreamed of the adventures that awaited them on the mountain.
In their newly ongoing house of leaves Uncle Solitaire and his nephews found comfort and a sense of accomplishment. They drifted off to sleep, excited for what tomorrow would bring on their mountain journey.
With the first rays of dawn gently touching the mountain peak, Uncle Solitaire and his nephews, Novel and John, stirred awake in their leafy shelter. The cool morning air invigorated their senses, and they wasted no time in starting their new day.
Uncle Solitaire led the way, his determination unwavering. “Today, let’s begin with the most important meal of the day – breakfast.” They reached for the remaining dates they had gathered, savoring their natural sweetness as they enjoyed a simple yet satisfying meal. A sip of cool water from their trusty canteens refreshed their bodies, preparing them for the tasks ahead.
“Boys, today is the day we put that mud to good use,” Uncle Solitaire declared, his voice brimming with excitement.
After a hearty breakfast of dates and water, the trio set out towards the muddy area they had discovered the previous day.
Upon reaching the mud source, Uncle Solitaire led the way in gathering the sticky substance. They used their hands to scoop the mud into large piles, forming a makeshift work area.
With their hands immersed in the task, Novel and John began mixing the mud with water, creating a thick and smooth consistency.
Uncle Solitaire guided the process, offering guidance on the proper consistency and technique. “Remember, boys, we want the mud to be easy to work with and spread evenly on the walls.”
With the mud mixture ready, they turned their attention back to their leaf-and-branch framework. Using their hands and improvised tools, they applied the mud to the walls with care and precision. The cool, wet texture of the mud against their skin was invigorating, a tangible reminder of their connection to the natural world.
Uncle Solitaire and his nephews, Novel and John, are depicted working together on building their leaf-and-mud shelter over the course of multiple days. This pacing allows for a realistic portrayal of the construction process, as it takes time to gather materials, mix mud, and apply it to the structure.
Uncle Solitaire : It’s important to note that building with mud requires careful planning, preparation, and attention to detail. The mud needs time to dry and set properly, and the construction process may involve multiple steps, including creating a sturdy framework, applying the mud mixture, and allowing it to dry.
Novel: So, Building a mud house typically requires more time than just one day, especially if you want to ensure that the structure is stable, durable, and able to provide adequate shelter.
Uncle Solitaire : Yup Dear.As it takes time to gather materials, mix mud, and apply it to the structure.
As they continued to work on their mud-covered shelter, John couldn’t help but let his curiosity get the best of him. He looked over at his uncle, Uncle Solitaire, who was busy applying the mud mixture to the walls, and finally, he decided to voice his question.
“Hey, Uncle Solitaire,” John began, his voice laced with intrigue, “I’m just wondering… how does this mud actually make a house? I mean, it feels cool and all, but I’m not sure how it turns into a real shelter.”
Uncle Solitaire paused for a moment, his hands covered in mud, and turned to John with a warm smile. “That’s a great question, John. Mud might seem simple, but it’s quite remarkable in how it works.”
John’s eyes lit up with curiosity as he listened intently to his uncle’s explanation.
“You see,” Uncle Solitaire continued, “when we mix mud with water, it creates a paste-like consistency. This mud mixture, when applied to a framework like the branches and leaves we’ve set up, serves a few important purposes.”
John nodded, absorbing the information. “Okay, so what does the mud do?”
“First,” Uncle Solitaire explained, “the mud helps to bind the branches and leaves together, creating a solid structure. It acts like glue, holding everything in place.”
John’s expression shifted from curiosity to realization. “Ah, so that’s why the leaves and branches don’t just fall apart.”
“Exactly,” Uncle Solitaire affirmed. “And second, as the mud dries, it hardens. This hardening process makes the walls stronger and more durable, providing us with protection from the elements.”
John’s eyes widened. “So, the mud actually becomes like a wall?”
Uncle Solitaire chuckled softly. “That’s right. It might not seem like it now, but once the mud dries and sets, it’ll create a solid barrier that keeps us safe and sheltered.”
John nodded thoughtfully, a sense of wonder filling his gaze. “Lord created nature so perfectly. The creation is pretty amazing, isn’t it? Who would’ve thought mud could turn into a house?”
Uncle Solitaire’s smile grew even wider. “Nature has a way of surprising us and providing solutions. Building with mud is an age-old technique that humans have used for centuries. It’s simple yet effective.”
John turned his attention back to the mud-covered walls, a newfound appreciation in his eyes. “Thanks for explaining, Uncle Solitaire. I’ll look at mud a whole lot differently now.”
“You’re welcome, John,” Uncle Solitaire replied. “Remember, every step of this process teaches us something new about the world around us. And as we build our shelter together, we’re not just creating a house – we’re also strengthening our bond as a family.”
With a sense of understanding and a renewed sense of purpose, John returned to his task, working alongside his uncle and Novel to continue the construction of their mud-covered shelter.
“Uncle Solitaire,” Novel began, his voice tinged with anticipation, “how long does it take for the mud to dry and for our shelter to be ready for us to live inside it?”
Uncle Solitaire paused for a moment, wiping his hands on a cloth before turning his attention to John’s eager gaze. “Ah, John, that’s an important consideration. The drying time for our mud shelter can vary depending on a few factors.”
John nodded, signaling his interest in learning more.
“Well,” Uncle Solitaire continued, “the weather plays a role. If it’s a warm and sunny day, the mud can dry more quickly. But if it’s cooler or if there’s rain, it might take longer.”
John looked up at the sky, as if trying to gauge the weather. ” We have to be grateful for the mercy of the Lord.”
Uncle Solitaire chuckled softly. “In a way, yes. We can’t control the weather, but we can monitor the shelter and wait until the mud has completely dried.”
John’s brow furrowed with concern. “But how will we know when it’s ready? Is there a way to tell?”
“Absolutely,” Uncle Solitaire reassured him. “One way is to touch the mud gently. If it feels firm and no longer sticky to the touch, that’s a good sign that it’s drying. Also, the color of the mud will change as it dries – it’ll become lighter in color.”
John nodded thoughtfully, processing the information. “Got it. So, once the mud feels firm and looks lighter, we’ll know it’s ready.”
“That’s right,” Uncle Solitaire affirmed. “But keep in mind that it might take a day or even longer for the mud to dry completely, especially if the weather isn’t cooperating.”
John’s gaze shifted to the shelter, his anticipation undiminished. “I guess we’ll just have to be patient and wait for our shelter to be ready. It’s like waiting for a surprise.”
Uncle Solitaire smiled warmly. “Exactly, John. And during this time, we can continue exploring the mountain, gathering more resources, and strengthening our shelter even further.”
With a newfound understanding of the drying process and a sense of patience, John returned to his task, working diligently alongside his uncle and Novel. As they continued to build and wait for their shelter to dry,
“Look at that,” Novel remarked, wiping his forehead. “Our shelter is really taking shape.”
Uncle Solitaire nodded in agreement. “Yes, indeed. It’s becoming a functional shelter.”
John agreed, his voice filled with awe. “After a day of hard work, it’s nice to witness such moments.”
As the sun went down behind the mountains, the trio stopped working and looked at the sunset.
When the last light of the sun disappeared behind the mountain, the sky turned a warm, gentle color. They had worked hard all day, and now they were taking a peaceful break, enjoying the beauty of the evening. It was a moment to relax and enjoy the beautiful evening.
As the sun went down and the sky turned darker, Uncle Solitaire, Novel, and John gathered some dry sticks and set up a little fireplace. It took a bit of effort, but they managed to make a fire with sparks and sticks. The flames danced and crackled, making the night feel cozy and warm.
For dinner they have dates and water. As they ate, Uncle Solitaire shared cool stories about his own adventures. Novel and John were totally into it, listening closely and feeling inspired.
After eating, they decided to sleep on the grass right next to the mud house they had just made. The roof of the mud house was still wet because they had just put mud on it today, so it wasn’t dry enough to sleep inside yet.
They lay down on the cool grass, looking up at the stars in the sky. The leaves rustled and the crickets chirped softly, like a peaceful lullaby. The fire they had made earlier crackled nearby, making everything feel cozy and warm.
Lying on the grass and staring at the stars-
“Hey, Uncle Solitaire,” Novel asked, “do you think there are any scary animals out here?”
Uncle Solitaire looked up and thought for a moment. “Well, we’ve been here for a few weeks now, and we haven’t seen any signs of dangerous animals. I think we’re in a pretty safe spot.”
John added, “Yeah, we’ve explored quite a bit, and no big creatures are trying to scare us.”
Uncle Solitaire nodded, “You’re right. I also think this mountain is safe so far at least the corner where we are staying.”
As they chatted about animals and their cool mountain adventure, their worries seemed to disappear. The night sounds and the feeling of being together made them feel all snug and secure as they drifted off to sleep.
The next morning, the sun’s bright rays shone through the leaves, signaling the start of a new day on their mysterious mountain adventure. Uncle Solitaire, Novel, and John woke up with fresh energy, ready for another day of exploring and discovering.
They had a breakfast of dates and water before setting off into the jungle on the mountain. The air was crisp, and the forest seemed alive with new things to see.
As they walked, Uncle Solitaire led the way, looking around for things they could use. “Today, let’s find more food and maybe things to make our shelter better,” he suggested.
Novel and John agreed, excited to get started. “Sounds good, Uncle Solitaire!”
Under the sunny sky, they went deeper into the forest. They followed twisty paths and stopped sometimes to look at cool plants and rocks.
“Check out these berries,” John said, pointing to red berries on a bush. “Are they safe to eat?”
Uncle Solitaire went closer to check. “We have to be careful with wild berries. Some can be bad for us. Let’s take a closer look.”
They spent a bit of time studying the berries, comparing them to fruits they knew were safe. Uncle Solitaire said, “These berries seem okay, but let’s only eat a little to make sure.”
With Uncle Solitaire guiding them, they each took a few berries and tasted them carefully. They waited to make sure they didn’t feel sick.
Novel smiled. “They taste good, Uncle Solitaire! Sweet and juicy.”
John nodded. “Yeah, they’re a good find.”
As they kept exploring, they found a small stream sparkling in the sunlight. “Water source!” Uncle Solitaire said, excited.
They knelt down and drank from the stream.
After they drank, they kept going. They found more fruits, leaves, and vines, and even found wild herbs that could be used for cooking.
When the sun started going down, Uncle Solitaire said it was time to go back . They came back near their mud house under the Date Palm Tree.
“Today was a sunny and hot day,” Novel Said.
“We found food and things to make our shelter better. It was a good day also”, Said Uncle Solitaire
As they rested, Uncle Solitaire looked toward their mud house with excitement.
“Our shelter needs checking,” he said. “Let’s see if the mud dried.”
Novel and John were excited. “You’re right, Uncle Solitaire. Let’s go.”
Feeling good, they went back to their mud house. There it was, looking solid and strong. The mud walls were dry, and the color was lighter, showing that the mud had set.
Novel’s eyes lit up. “Wow, it worked! Our shelter is ready.”
John grinned. “Uncle Solitaire, it’s amazing. Our home looks amazing!”
Uncle Solitaire was happy also . “You both did a wonderful job”.
They went inside their new mud house, feeling happy. It was cool and comfy, a nice place they made together.
“It’s nice to have a home,” Novel said, satisfied.
John added, “We did it by using what’s around us! ”
As the sun went down, they settled in their mud house. They felt safe and cozy, knowing they have a home now.
Uncle Solitaire spoke warmly, “Today was also about exploring, discovering, and achieving. Let’s rest well, knowing we built a shelter, a shelter we can call it our home.”
Novel and John nodded… With a sense of togetherness and accomplishment, they fell asleep, excited for the adventures the next day would bring on their mysterious mountain journey.
“They woke up fresh from sleep.”
Novel stretched his arms and yawned. “Ah, what a good sleep!”
John said . “I feel refreshed and ready to explore.”
They sat near a small fire they had made earlier to warm up the chilly morning air. As the fire crackled, they had their breakfast of dates and water.
“Breakfast time!” Uncle Solitaire announced with a grin.
Novel laughed. “I’m so ready for this.”
After breakfast, they set out with new hope. The mountain was their playground, filled with new paths to take and hidden wonders to uncover.
“Which way should we go today?” John wondered aloud.
Uncle Solitaire considered their options. “Let’s head toward that ridge. I think there might be something interesting there.”
As they explored, they saw unique rock formations and various flowers. The air was cool and crisp, and the sun cast a warm glow over everything.
“Look at these flowers,” Novel exclaimed, kneeling down to them. “They’re like a rainbow “.
They continued their journey, sharing stories and pointing out cool things they found. Day by day this became their regular routine, to find out new things in the mountains.
The day was also a new exploration. Now they are much familiar with these paths.
They sat down on a large rock, looking out at the expansive landscape before them. The mountains stretched as far as the eye could see, and the gentle breeze played with their hair.
“Uncle Solitaire, this view is so beautiful ,” John marveled.
After their break, they continued their exploration, following winding paths. The forest was alive with the sounds of birds and insects, a symphony of nature. It was like a melody garden.
“Hey, look at this tree,” Novel said, pointing to a massive tree with twisted roots. Uncle Solitaire’s eyes twinkled.
As the sun began to lower in the sky, casting a warm golden glow , they knew it was time to go back to their house.
“Sunset already?” Novel said.
Uncle Solitaire chuckled. “Time flies when you’re having fun.”
They made their way back, their steps light with the memory of the day’s discoveries. The familiar sight of their mud house in the distance brought a sense of comfort and belonging.
As they arrived, Uncle Solitaire spoke warmly, “Another good day, They sat down outside their mud house, watching the sky change colors as the sun dipped below the horizon.
Novel sighed. “I feel so grateful for all these experiences.”
John nodded in agreement. “We’re making memories that we’ll cherish forever.”
Uncle Solitaire smiled, his eyes filled with satisfaction . “And with each passing day, they were used to their mountain life .” But in the deep corner of their heart they were missing their old days, family, the beloved faces. But for better days, They have to keep their patience.
As the stars began to twinkle in the night sky, they settled into their mud house, After their regular dinner Novel said with a yawn – “Good night, Uncle Solitaire,”
“Good night, my dear boys,” Uncle Solitaire replied. “Have sweet dreams.”
As they drifted off to sleep, their hearts were full of satisfaction, but in deep dive of their heart they were feeling empty without their beloved. Yet, they were struggling for the new day that awaited them, ready to continue their journey of exploration, discovery, and unity on their mystifying mountain to have a better future indeed.
The next day dawned, a morning was not like any other days , typical and serene. The day’s sky was draped in layers of clouds, making it unfit for venturing outside. Thus, they spent the day inside their small mud house, sharing stories. During this time, uncle Solitaire pondered that it would be good if they could write down their days in a diary. Hence, Uncle Solitaire retrieved a diary and a pen from his bag.
He began writing, depicting how they spent their lives. Novels and John prompted them to do something similar. However, they also thought it was essential to keep track of the calendar. Thus, they took out a calendar from their bag and started marking it. Uncle Solitaire was quite pleased to see this. They proudly displayed the marked calendar to Novel and John.
Novel and John were amazed to realize that Uncle Solitaire had already thought of this idea even before them.
After writing in the diary, Uncle Solitaire placed the diary in his backpack. Then, he turned towards Novel and Jan, and said, “I feel that it’s necessary for us to try growing some crops and vegetables. And I think the empty space next to us would be good soil for cultivating vegetables and crops. Let’s give it a try and see. What do you all say?”
Uncle Solitaire said, “You know, I’ve been thinking. Maybe we can grow our own wheat right here.”
Novel’s eyes lit up with curiosity. “Wheat? Can we really do that?”
Uncle Solitaire smiled at their enthusiasm. “Well, first we need to prepare a small patch of land outside. We’ll clear away any rocks or weeds and make the soil nice and soft.”
Uncle Solitaire pulled out a small bag from his backpack. With a grin, he turned to Novel and John, saying, “Guess what I have? Something that’s going to help us grow wheat crops .”
Curiosity gleamed in Novel’s eyes. “Really? What is it?”
John leaned in closer, intrigued. “Yeah, show us!”
With a dramatic flourish, Uncle Solitaire opened the bag, revealing a handful of wheat grains. “Ta-da! Wheat seeds.”
Both Novel and John stared at the grains in awe. “You mean we can use these to plant more wheat?” Novel asked, excitement bubbling in their voice.
Uncle Solitaire nodded, his eyes twinkling. “Exactly! We’ll plant these.”
Jan’s smile grew wider. “That’s so cool! It’s like having a little piece of our wheat field right here. But where did you get it, uncle?”
Uncle Solitaire replied that – ” I am carrying this from the beginning of our journey, thinking that it might be needed in future”. Novel and John were amazed!
As they gathered around the table, they began to plan their mini wheat field. “We’ll prepare the soil, plant the seeds, water them, and watch them grow,” Uncle Solitaire explained.
Novel grabbed a piece of paper and started sketching. “We can even mark the area with sticks, like we did last time.”
Uncle Solitaire chuckled. “You’re absolutely right. It’ll be like our own mini wheat field right outside.”
Novel : Uncle Solitaire , you know, I’ve been wondering, how long does it take for wheat to go from seed to being ready to eat?
Uncle Solitaire : Well, it’s a bit of a journey. From planting the wheat seeds, it usually takes around 4 to 8 months for them to be ready for harvest.
John: That’s quite a range. Why does it vary so much?
Uncle Solitaire : Different factors come into play, like the specific variety of wheat being grown, the local climate and weather conditions, and the quality of soil and care given during the growth period.
Novel : Once the wheat is harvested, is it good to eat right away?
Uncle Solitaire : Not quite, After harvesting, the wheat seeds need to go through processing. They’re typically cleaned, threshed, and milled into flour. This can take some additional time, maybe a few weeks depending on the processing methods used.
Novel: And then, of course, the flour can be used in cooking to make various dishes like bread, pasta, or pastries. So, from the time the seeds are planted to the point where you can actually enjoy a meal made from wheat, it’s a multi-step process that can span several months!
John : Ah, I see. It’s fascinating how much goes into producing something as simple as a loaf of bread!
Uncle Solitaire. That’s exactly!
Next Day, it was a sunny day…With the plan set, they headed outside to the small patch of land beside their cabin. They cleared the area, their excitement growing with every shovelful of soil they turned.
Once the soil was ready, Uncle Solitaire poured the wheat seeds into their hands and let them fall gently onto the soil. “Just like this,” he said, demonstrating.
Novel and John followed suit, scattering the wheat seeds with a mix of care and eagerness. As they covered the seeds with soil and watered the area, they couldn’t help but feel a sense of anticipation for what was to come.
Days turned into weeks, and as they tended to their new wheat crop, they marvelled. “Look at those tiny green sprouts!” John exclaimed one morning.
Uncle Solitaire grinned happily . “It’s amazing how something so small can turn into something so big and useful.”
As the wheat stalks grew taller and stronger, Novel observed, “It’s like they’re waving hello to the sky.”
And just like that, their small patch of land transformed once again into a lush field of wheat, swaying in the mountain breeze. As the wheat ripened, they gathered the stalks and smiled to look into these crops.
“Time to turn these into flour and make bread!” John exclaimed!
Back inside their tiny cabin, they took turns grinding the wheat into flour, the rhythmic sound of the grinder filling the air. Soon, they had a small pile of fresh flour ready to be turned into bread.
With laughter and joy, they mixed the flour, added water, and shaped the dough into small loaves. As the aroma of baking bread filled the cabin, Uncle Solitaire looked at Novel and John. “You see, something wonderful! ”
And as they broke off pieces of warm, homemade bread, they knew that these moments of togetherness were the true treasures of their mountain adventure.
In this way, their days in the mountains were passing by. Day after day, the months were adding up, and the seasons were changing. Over this time, they came to realize that they were the first humans to live this mountain life. Perhaps no one had lived here before, or even if they had, no one was living here now. There was no one around them.
They understood that where they were, there was no one else. No one was nearby. And in this part of the mountain, they had not seen the end of it. They had not explored the entire mountain. They had started living where there were no signs of any aggressive animals or creatures. So, they thought that they could make this place their home even stronger, as long as they had to stay in this mountain life for the foreseeable future.
On a sunny and breezy day, the soft morning light crept into their tiny cabin, rousing Novel, John, and Uncle Solitaire from their bed.
Novel stretched and yawned, her voice still groggy. “Good morning, everyone. What a beautiful day!”
John grinned, sitting up in his bedroll. “Sure is! I can’t wait to see what we’re going to do today.”
Uncle Solitaire, already up and about, chuckled. “Well, we’ve got our tasks cut out for us. How about we divide and conquer?”
As they gathered around the fire, the scent of the outdoors mixed with the aroma of the lingering embers. Uncle Solitaire took a sip from his mug and looked at John. “John, why don’t you head out and gather some firewood? We’ll need plenty to keep us warm.”
John nodded enthusiastically. “You got it! I’ll go gather the best firewood I can find.”
Novel, tying her hair back, chimed in. “I’ll head to the stream to check the traps we set yesterday. Maybe we’ve caught something delicious.”
As they went about their tasks, the sounds of the morning surrounded them – the rustle of leaves in the wind, the distant gurgling of the stream, and the birdsong that painted the air.
Novel returned with a smile, holding a small rabbit in her hands. “Success! Looks like we’re in for a treat tonight.”
John, his arms full of wood, laughed. “And I’ve got enough wood here to keep us toasty.”
Uncle Solitaire wiped his hands on a cloth and motioned to the small garden they had planted. “And I’ve been tending to our garden. Our vegetables are looking healthier every day.”
With their morning chores completed, they reconvened in the cabin. The fire crackled as they prepared a simple breakfast, their conversation flowing as easily as the wind through the open windows.
John, gazing out at the distant mountains, mused aloud. “You know, Novel, I’ve always wondered what’s on the other side of those peaks.”
Novel looked thoughtful. “It’s a mystery, isn’t it? Maybe one day we’ll gather enough courage to find out.”
Uncle Solitaire’s eyes twinkled. “Adventure awaits, but for now, let’s savor this morning and the beauty of our mountain home.”
As the day unfolded, they laughed, shared stories, and felt the sense of togetherness that only a morning on the mountain could bring. The sun climbed higher in the sky, casting warmth and light on their world as they carried on with their unique, shared journey.
With their morning tasks complete, Novel, John, and Uncle Solitaire set out for a bit of exploration. The sun bathed the landscape in a golden glow, and a gentle breeze stirred the leaves on the trees.
As they walked, Uncle Solitaire pointed to a cluster of wildflowers. “See those flowers? They’re not just pretty to look at. Some of them can be used for making natural remedies.”
Novel’s eyes widened with curiosity. “Really? Can you show us which ones are useful?”
Uncle Solitaire nodded, kneeling down and carefully examining the plants. “This one here, the white flower, is called black seed. It’s known for boosting the immune system. used also for easing aches and pains.”
John squatted down next to him, examining the flowers with newfound interest. “Nature is full of surprises, isn’t it? Who knew these little plants could do so much?”
As they continued their walk, Novel spotted a unique-looking rock. “Hey, what’s that over there? It’s so shiny!”
Uncle Solitaire picked it up, turning it in his hand. “Ah, that’s a piece of mica. It’s a mineral that can reflect light and create a bit of sparkle. People used to use it to make windows for lanterns.”
John grinned. “We might not have lanterns, but this could be a cool decoration for our cabin!”
As they ventured further, the terrain changed, revealing a hidden clearing with a breathtaking view of the valley below. The mountains stretched out in front of them, and the distant rivers sparkled like silver threads.
Novel sighed in awe. “Wow, this is incredible. I can’t believe how far we’ve come since we first arrived.”
Uncle Solitaire put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Indeed, Novel. We’ve created a life full of wonder and discovery, right here on this mountain.”
John chimed in, his voice filled with excitement. “And who knows what other adventures await us? Maybe one day, we’ll follow those rivers down the valley and see where they lead.”
With the sun now directly overhead, they decided to head back to the cabin. The journey home was accompanied by shared laughter, as they recounted the sights they had seen and the knowledge they had gained.
As they returned to their cabin, the sense of contentment was palpable. The cabin, nestled amidst the trees, felt like a warm embrace after their day of exploration.
Uncle Solitaire opened the cabin door, letting in a flood of golden afternoon light. “Home sweet home, my friends. And tomorrow, who knows what new discoveries we’ll make?”
And so, as the day wound down, they settled into their routine, preparing a meal with the rabbit Novel had caught and relishing the stories of their journey. The simple joys of mountain life continued to unfold, each day a new page in their shared story of adventure, friendship, and the boundless beauty of their mountain world.
As the sun started to go down and the sky turned a warm orange color, Novel, John, and Uncle Solitaire gathered around a big wooden table in their tiny cabin. The table was covered with papers, ink bottles, and drawings they had made.
Uncle Solitaire smiled kindly at them. “Hey, my friends, it’s time to write down what we’ve seen and learned today. Let’s make a special map of our mountain adventures!”
Novel grabbed a feather quill and grinned. “I’m going to write about the different plants we found. Some can even help us if we get sick.”
John leaned closer, excited. “And I’m going to draw a map showing where we walked. It will help us remember where we’ve been and maybe help us explore new places.”
As they worked, the cabin was filled with the sound of pens scratching on paper. The soft light from the candles made everything feel warm and magical, like they were on a special quest.
Uncle Solitaire carefully looked at his own map, which had paths, streams, and spots where they found yummy things to eat. “Our maps will be like treasure maps for anyone who comes after us.”
As the evening went on, they chatted and giggled, taking breaks to look at each other’s work. They talked about the animals they’d seen, the prettiest spots they’d found, and the fun they had exploring.
With a happy sigh, Novel finished writing. “Done! I’ve written down all about the plants. It’s amazing how much we’ve learned.”
John rolled up his map. “And here’s our cabin, the stream, and that really cool open area with the grand view.”
Uncle Solitaire’s eyes twinkled with pride. “You guys have done a fantastic job. These maps and notes will be like a secret treasure for the future.”
As they tidied up, they put their maps and notes in a special box. The cabin felt cozy and full of stories, like a place where their adventures were safe and sound.
Turning off the lights, Novel stretched and yawned. “What a fun evening! Now it’s time to rest so we can have more adventures tomorrow.”
John nodded sleepily. “You’re right. Let’s get some sleep so we can be super ready for our next mountain day.”
And so, they snuggled into their beds, the cabin full of quiet and comfort. The moonlight peeked through the windows, casting a gentle glow on their papers and drawings, a reminder of the amazing journey they were having and the special moments that made every day an adventure…
The next morning, as the first rays of sunlight filtered through the cabin’s windows.
Uncle Solitaire was the first to rise, his eyes bright . “Good morning, everyone!
After their breakfast…
Uncle Solitaire: Hello there, my friends! I’ve got an idea that I think you’ll find pretty exciting. How about we roll up our sleeves and create our very own vegetable garden?
Novel:Really? A garden? That sounds interesting!
John: Yeah, Another wonderful experience!
Uncle Solitaire: Well, it’s a chance to grow some of our own veggies. I’m thinking cucumbers, lemons, chilies, and gourds.
Novel: Cucumbers, lemons, chilies, and gourds all are favourites veggies!
Uncle Solitaire: Well, cucumbers are good for munching on, or we could use them in salads. Lemons will give us that zingy flavor for lemonade. Chilies, they’ll add a little kick to our meals. And gourds, they’re quite versatile, you know. We can turn them into interesting decorations or even something like birdhouses. It’s very good for our stomach.
John: Huh, that’s cool. But how do we start something like this?
Uncle Solitaire:Good question, John. First, we need to find a spot where our garden can get a lot of sunlight. Sunlight is like food for plants.
Novel: Got it, so a sunny spot.
Uncle Solitaire: Exactly! After that, we’ll need to make sure the soil is ready. That means digging it up a bit and adding something called compost. It’s like a treat for the soil, helps the plants grow strong.
John: Compost, got it. And then?
Uncle Solitaire: Well, we’ll decide where to put each type of veggie. Cucumbers and gourds, they like to climb, so we’ll need to build something for them to hold on to. Like a little structure.
Novel: Oh, it will be fun!
Uncle Solitaire: You got it, Novel. And for the lemon tree, we’ll want to put it where it can soak up lots of sunshine.
John: What about the chilies?
Uncle Solitaire: Chilies will need sunlight too, and a bit of space to spread out their leaves.
Novel: So, once we’ve got all that set up, what’s next?
Uncle Solitaire: Well, we will plant tiny seeds that I got in my backpack then we will wait for them to grow.
John: You also got these seeds in your bag! Brilliant Uncle! You did advanced work already!
Uncle Solitaire: That’s right, John. After we plant them, we’ll need to water them regularly. Just like we need water, plants do too!
Novel: You know I already guessed that you kept some seeds in your bag!
Uncle Solitaire: Oh Really! Good! Good! Then We’ll give them a special kind of food called fertilizer. It’s like vitamins for plants. And for the climbing plants, we’ll create a structure they can use to climb high.
John: Got it. We’re building them a little climbing playground with sticks… right?
Uncle Solitaire:You’ve got the idea! As our garden grows, we’ll need to keep an eye on the plants, making sure they’re safe from pests and disease. And slowly, over time, our garden will start giving us tasty veggies and beautiful plants.
Novel: When can we start eating cucumbers and lemons?
Uncle Solitaire: Ah, that’s the lesson of patience. Cucumbers might be ready in about 50-70 days, chilies in 60-90 days, and gourds, well, they might take 80-120 days. But lemons, they’re in it for the long haul. We might need to wait a couple of months before they’re ready to give their fruits.
John: So, we’re going to learn patience and how to take care of a garden?
Uncle Solitaire: Exactly! Our garden adventure is going to be a fun journey of learning and growing. What do you say? Are you up for it?
Novel: I’m totally excited!
John: Yeah, let’s give it a shot!
And so, with Uncle Solitaire’s idea in mind, they embarked on their gardening journey, ready to nurture their garden.
The trio set out to prepare the soil for their upcoming gardening venture. They spent the rest of the day digging their garden.
From the next day, they got the main task to put the seeds into the soil.
Uncle Solitaire: Good morning, everyone! How’s everyone feeling today?
Novel: Ready for another day of gardening!
John: Yeah, it’s becoming a fun routine.
Uncle Solitaire Excellent! Today, we’re going to dive into a new phase of our gardening journey.
Novel: New phase? What’s up next?
Uncle Solitaire: Remember how we chatted about planting cucumber seeds yesterday?
John: Yeah, we were all set to tuck them in!
Uncle Solitaire: Exactly!
They started their day work…
Uncle Solitaire : Well, today is all about getting those little cucumber seeds into the ground
Novel: Oh, we’re planting them today? How do we do that?
Uncle Solitaire: Right on, Novel. First, let’s make sure the soil is all prepped and ready. We’ll need to make some shallow holes, about an inch deep, in the soil.
Novel: How many seeds per hole?
Uncle Solitaire: Let’s go with two or three seeds per hole. That way, we increase our chances of having at least one sprout in each spot.
John: Got it, a little seed party it is!
” Ha! Ha! ” – Uncle Solitaire replied. Once the seeds are in, we’ll gently cover them with soil. Just like tucking them in with a blanket.
Novel: A cozy blanket for our seeds!
Uncle Solitaire: You two are really funny guys! You got it! And what do you think comes next?
John: Watering time?
Uncle Solitaire: John! We’ll give our newly planted seeds a good drink of water, making sure they feel welcome in their new home.
Novel: It’s like saying, “Hey, seeds, we’re here to take care of you!”
Uncle Solitaire: That’s the spirit! Now, over the next week or two, if we’re patient and take a look, we might start to see some tiny sprouts poking out of the soil.
The trio was in a jolly mood! They were enjoying every single day of their mountain life…
After two weeks… One Day in a sunny morning John was screaming! Novel ran out from their tiny mud house…
John: Sprouts! I’m looking forward to that.
Uncle Solitaire: And as they grow, we’ll need to give them some room to spread out.
John :How do we do that?
Uncle Solitaire: Well, if we see too many sprouts crowded in one spot, we’ll gently remove the weaker ones, leaving space for the strong ones to thrive.
John: Let’s do it !
Uncle Solitaire :Exactly, John! And as our cucumber plants get bigger, we’ll need to set up a trellis for them to climb on also.
Novel: But John! You screamed so loudly! I was astonished! Anyway, Don’t shout like this again! I might have had a stroke!
Uncle Solitaire: Yeah Sure John? But I am happy to see that both of you are excited! It’ll be an adventure for sure. Day by day, as we care for our garden, those little sprouts will turn into strong plants, and eventually, we’ll get to enjoy some delicious cucumbers.
John: Can’t wait for those fresh cucumbers!
Novel: And I’m excited to make some lemonade!
Uncle Solitaire: Well, let’s get our gardening hats on and make today’s adventure a leafy one!
And so, with their gardening hats on and hearts full of excitement, they stepped outside to continue their gardening journey, ready to plant cucumber seeds and watch their garden evolve one step at a time…
In the span of nine enchanting months, their life on the mountain unfolded like a story of many different experiences, marked by the rhythm of their shared efforts and growth. Every morning, as the sun’s gentle rays touched the sky, their tiny mud house brightened up, welcoming them to a new day. They started their day with simple but satisfying meals to give them energy for what lay ahead.
Three of them, Uncle Solitaire, Novel, and John, would set off with handmade tools like shovels and watering cans. Instead of knights with swords, they were gardeners on a mission. Their job was to take care of their garden. They’d dig into the ground, water the plants, and watch with excitement and plants started to grow.
While working on the garden, they also explored the area around them. They walked along paths, ventured into the woods, and found many new streams. They collected fruits from inside the jungle…
When evening came, they’d return to their cabin and gather around a table. They’d look at maps and write down what they did during the day. It was like a summer camp meeting where they’d share stories and laugh together.
At night, they’d light a fire in the cabin to stay warm. The smell of freshly baked bread would fill the air, and they’d enjoy their meal together. They talked and felt safe, surrounded by the fire’s glow.
Their garden flourished, and they learned about the plants and how they grow. It was like watching a movie with different scenes. They also went up the mountain to see the view from the top. It felt like a grand moment of life.
As they stood at the mountain’s peak, they looked at how far they’d come. It was like reaching the end of a book. They felt blessed for what they’d done. The journey had been exciting, and they were ready for new adventures ahead. The mountain always taught them a special part of valuable skills for surviving in a different place…
That is how they had spent almost 9 months in this mountain… Then One Day…
