Andrew Tate, a well-known British-American kickboxer, recently embraced to Islam. The former kickboxer, who was born in Chicago and raised in Luton, once referred to Islam as “the last true faith in the world,” and he has now verified that he is a Muslim after a video of him praying in a mosque went viral.
Tate, a self-described “success coach,” announced the news on Gettr, one of his last remaining social media platforms. This is the reason I’m a Muslim. Anyone who considers themselves a Christian and is aware of the real struggle against evil must convert. Be patient, for Allah’s promise is TRUTH (Quran 30:60),” he wrote in his note.
He can be seen in the viral footage worshipping in a mosque alongside MMA fighter and Hollywood actor Tam Khan. Khan captioned the video on his social media sites, “Praise be to God, to receive widespread contact and the admiration of thousands of followers.”
He went on to elaborate on Tate’s conversion and offered his support in a lengthy remark. Brother Andrew has a strong commitment to Islam and is very sincere. Let me make a few things clear. I recorded us praying, why? ‘Because it helps to promote positivity,’ Tate explains, emphasising that this is his first time praying.
Andrew might have declined because he is aware that doing so may further his already contentious online reputation, but he took the initiative instead. It was a special trip to the mosque, by God. He wanted it more than I did. He reminded me to go today after we arranged it days before,” Khan remarked.
On Monday, October 24, Andrew Tate posted on his Gettr official account that he had converted to Islam.
“This is why I’m Muslim. Any Christian who believes in good and understands the true battle against evil must convert.”
Written by Mohammad Afghan:
Tate going to court in chains, with a Quran in his hand:
The Prophet said:
‘God may aid this religion even by a sinful
person.
[‘Sahih Muslim’, 111].
Andrew Tate is a double-edged sword:
The man is not a saint, but he is one of the most influential people on the planet.
Tate has a dark past, which is casting a long
shadow on his future, once something is on the
internet, it will always follow you.
It is not a secret that he was involved in immorality but we should not use his past to blackmail him, because Islam erases the past. His kufr was worse than his immorality. Most of the companions of the Prophet were converts to Islam. They did a lot of bad things in Jahiliyah, but it was not held against
them. In the past, Tate has said a lot of nonsensical things about women, so it is understandable that Many women hate him. His misogynistic views are indefensible.
But we should not allow our emotions to cloud our judgement, questioning Tate’s conversion, etc. Some women fail to understand why so many men are fans of Andrew…. they think that men like him purely because of his misogynistic views, which is not true.Tate speaks a lot of sense on multiple issues, such as: wealth generation, politics, masculinity, health, self-confidence, motivation, personal development, etc. He is full of energy, he is funny and charismatic.
He has eloquence, his tongue is sharp like a blade and as the Prophet said, some speech has a.[إن من البيان لسحرا] magical effect on people
This is why he is the most Googled man on the
the planet and his videos have BILLIONS of views. The Ayah, or Hadith, or Islamic quote he shares, gets viewed by 100,000,000 people!
He is actually reaching the type of audience, which our clerics cannot reach. The young people in the East and West, will not sit down and listen to an Imam who speaks broken English with a funny accent, and wears clothes that they don’t wear.
There is no connection.
But they do listen to Tate and find him cool.
The reach of this guy is absolutely phenomenal. This is why the Prophet asked God to strengthen Islam by guiding Omar to Islam, because he was powerful in society.
I don’t know what is currently going on behind the scenes, so I reserve judgement.
Let’s assume the best of our fellow brother and
I hope he is innocent. He is challenging the entire world order, there are videos showing many young Andrew Tate fans embracing Islam, because of his conversion. People trust his judgement, they are trying to limitate him and be like him, including in his conversion to Islam. The media don’t like powerful people like him, especially when Islam comes into it, so they will come after him and demonise him. Let’s give the man the benefit of the doubt. Don’t be too quick to judge. The media can turn day into night and night into the day. It can turn a villain into a hero and a hero into a villain. If he is guilty, he is guilty, if he is innocent, he is
innocent. If he is Muslim, why should we get happy if he sins and gets found guilty? We should be saddened by this, as he is our brother, who slipped and lost a battle with his Nafs and the devil. I don’t know what his current situation is or what his current views on women are, but from what I have heard, he has toned down a lot. Many of the fiery videos are from his past. Whatever the case, he is just a man and we are men. He is not a saint or a religious role-model. We pray that Tate finds solace in Islam, that the Lord keeps him away from vice and makes him a beacon of guidance for people, and this is not difficult for God.
Allah knows best
